Jessica,

Admiring your baby Levi and spending time with Annabelle are so much more important than blogging right now, so don't worry! Enjoy your children and rest, yourself, when they're resting! You have the most important job in the world!

Hugs,
Ruth

I'm glad to stop in and find an update. You know this already of course, but... to everything there is a season. The time will arrive, all too quickly, when Levi is more independent and you have time to write again... to snap photos.. and to wonder why the days are going by so quickly. Enjoy these precious days.

We both have an Annabel(le) and we both have a blog with the same name (different spelling). So I thought it best to introduce myself. By the way, I remember this stage of parenting so well. I have 3 children (13, 10 - my Annabel and 6 - my son). Enjoy it. :)

I also have another blog, where I post more frequently: http://treesfam.blogspot.com/

Blessings to you and your family!

Hey, I loved your post. I am really missing out on seeing Levi and I hope to see you guys soon.

Since you can't have dairy right now, I wanted to tell you about this drink you can get at Whole Foods called Almond Breeze, Chocolate. (get the regular kind that is sweetened) It's lip-smacking delicious. I just learned about it from my vegan cousin, and I have to say it's a lot better than chocolate soy milk. But my cousin warned to stay away from other Almond Breeze flavors. It's sooo good, pure perfection. Not high in calories or fat. Try it!

Your words about Levi..so lovely.I would like to cuddle my baby, too, yet it is too early.I am only 5 months pregnant :)
D. also started to a Montessori Nursery this past week. She liked it so far. However I was with her, first day all day long and second day I sat at the corridor.Next week I'll leave her and let her spread her wings. We will see how it goes.
Enjoy your babymoon :)

My daughter also loves to brag up her big sister status to the other kids. I think she views him in the same way some single people view dogs, as something of an ice-breaker. As long as it's positive for both of them I think it's great.

It takes a while to get the swing of two. But pretty soon you won't even give it a second thought. And now that my baby is one, it's often easier to have both of them. They're starting to entertain each other and that's sweet indeed. You really do have so much to look forward to.

In the meantime, take all the time away you need and savour these days. As you know they are over way, way too fast.

I'm glad to hear that things are going better for you. I meant to write after your 2 week update, but life has been a little out of control it seems and I haven't been doing much correspondence...

It is such an adjustment for everyone having a new baby on hand. A high needs one (and a high needs toddler) makes life extra interesting. We know first hand. Thank goodness for baby carriers. Wrap naps. Wrap bounce on the ball. Lots and lots of bouncing in our house. Screaming in car seats, it does eventually get better. I'm glad that you're able to get out some. And glad you figured out the dairy - took me 8 months with my first to figure out dairy. Then I was dairy free (even "hidden" dairy) for 3+ years for the kids. Sugarfree gum....you could try Spry - it's sweetened only with zylitol and that works in our house (artificial sweeteners give me husband migraines).

Enjoy your family, and I look forward to your next post. :)

Good to hear from you and to hear the update! I love reading along and daydreaming about my own baby when he or she arrives in March. I can't wait for springtime when he or she arrives, summers outside, fall with pumpkins and hayrides, and Christmas and playing in the snow next winter.

As for my finger, since you were wondering, I cut the tip off while chopping a leek. Had to have it reattached (tape, not stitches) with no pain killers. It hurts but it's more ugly than anything else right now.

the car! both my kids hated it. i know my town very very well because there have been years of my life when i don't feel it is fair to try to drive any further.

it is so nice to hear from you. it sounds like things are going just as they should.

i am thinking of you and wishing you the best of transitions. i won't expect you once a week - perhaps more like twice one week and then again three weeks later. ;)
