Feeling Honored

While I realize it’s only Tuesday, this week I am feeling quiet.  My flower garden is beginning to take shape as I add more pansies and petunias.  Annabelle and I created Spring decorations for the front of our house over the weekend, and I hope to share more on that sometime today or tomorrow.  For now, I thought I would share some happy news.  Last week, two of my favorite bloggers, Montessori Mama and Mama Hope of Hippie Dippie Bebe, wrote posts about Green Mamma, noting what they’ve enjoyed about visiting my blog.   Montessori Mama also shared several other inspiring mamas in this post, many of whom I hope you’ll all check out . . . so many great ideas, inspiration, and fun activities to do with the kids and family.   In Mama Hope’s post entitled “Blog Find: Kids Crafts and Outdoor Activities at Green Mamma,” she discusses her personal journey as a parent to a now 13 year old and a toddler under age 2.  Mama Hope also recommends the book I Love Dirt, as well as other titles and curriculum that engage children to develop a nurturing and healthy understanding and relationship with Mother Nature.

So, if you get a chance, I hope you’ll stop over and visit these two amazing women bloggers, who I turn to just about everyday for inspiration, wisdom, and good old fashioned fun (as a parent of a toddler, this is a daily must for me).

Thanks, Jessica!

I can’t believe your little one is only two! I guess that shows how much you forget as a mom. I keep trying to remember what my first was doing at D’s age and I am a blank!

So glad you’re able to enjoy yourself gardening. I am knee deep in boxes and to-do lists getting ready for a move, hence my delay in getting back to you! But thanks for the mention and I hope a few new mamas discover you from my post.

Be well, and if you don’t hear from me in awhile, now you know why!

Thank you Hope! Good luck with your move, and again, thank you for sharing Green Mamma with your readers. As you know, it makes me smile to connect with other families who share my interests in nature and the environment. See you soon, :-)
