		<description>Thanks Abbie!  Last fall Martha Stewart did a show on ornamental lettuces but my mind was still working on unpacking our house.  This year, we&#039;ll definitely plant some pretty lettuces.  

By the way, I hope to learn more about cold frames for winter gardening.  I am also trying to figure out what to do with our patio herb garden once cold weather hits.  I love being able to go out on my back deck and just pick fresh herbs.</description>

I&#039;m not sure if they&#039;re edible, but I don&#039;t think so, since they&#039;re called &quot;ornamental.&quot;</description>
