When I do get around to painting my nails I will have to try Honeybee gardens. A while back I painted my nails with a vegan polish called No Miss, which I thought looked quite nice on my toes. Still, there's the upkeep issue, which is why I prefer the all natural look.

Thanks for the manicure and polish tips! I bet other gardeners and crafters can relate.

Great post! I've never been a fan of nail salons. The smell gives me a headache and I honestly don't like sitting there... I feel like I'm wasting time. The only pedicure I ever had was the day before my wedding.
Now, I opt to leave my fingernails polish free, since they get so dirty between gardening at home, working at the farm market, and working in the greenhouse at school. My nail brush is my best manicure tool.
I do paint my toenails in sandal season, because I think they look prettier. I've fallen in love with the Honeybee Gardens nail polish and remover. It's so strange at first, to be painting your nails without smelling that nail polish smell. Because it's a different chemical formula than other nail polishes, I find tha it doesn't chip easily, and I think I've only had to paint my toes a few times this summer, which is way less than with traditional nail polish.
