Yikes! The folks at Wholesome Baby Food Recipes just published this post about the Beaba Baby Cook, a product that uses a polycarbonate container that leeches, you guessed it, BPA! Um, and considering that the Beaba Baby Cook is used to steam baby food, i.e. use heat, my worry meter is at an all time high! Heat and iffy plastic = nasty chemicals leeching into your food. Let’s just say that I think I’ll wait until the Beaba Baby Cook replaces the polycarbonate container with a healthier, maybe glass, equivalent.
